Goodbye Party with the Family

Today Alecs and I were thrown another party - organized by my mom, who as always made it wonderful and memorable. Everyone who came scrapbooked a page with their picture making an album of family memories for us to take with us - something I will treasure for the rest of my life. The party was Asian/Australian themed and mom had everything you could imagine. Mango rice on a stick, satay skewers, greek salad on a stick, salad rolls, salmon skewers and much more. We had a tropical punch and an array of international and Australian wines, beer and liquor. The family created an incredible scrapbook of themselves for us to take with us. We played goodbye song trivia and sang Leaving on a Jet Plane and had a really wonderful time.  Mom even went out and bought Australian hats and asian themed napkins. I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for my family who has always done so much for me - it will be very hard to say goodbye.
